Live sketching is becoming the next big thing in events and wedding entertainment.

Book me to join you on your day to live sketch your guests, capturing their outfits and hairstyles on the day, making a contemporary keepsake and memento. It truly is memorable and a fun form of entertainment which creates a great talking point between your guests.

Which Package To Choose?

When selecting your package please consider the amount of guests you have attending. Unfortunately with live sketching there is no way of sketching and painting 100 people or over in one day. It would be a matter of a first come first served basis when painting.

I do work extremely hard to get as many guests drawn as possible within the time we are booked and we begin to pre-warn people that we may not get them drawn when we know we are getting to capacity. Guest are very understanding about this.

The best time for live sketching is during your wedding drinks reception. This means the daylight is good for sketching and painting, and it forms a great talking point and ice breaker between guests.

My background as a teacher of art & textiles has brought me to this current point within my career. I am highly organised, good at planning and not afraid of people watching or commenting about my work. I am very personable and easy to get along with.

I live sketch at weddings, christenings, baby showers, business/corporate events and parties.

Time To Mingle

I bring an assistant with me who helps taking photos of the guests. I draw from these photographs so your guests don't need to sit for the duration of the illustration, they can continue to have fun and mingle.

It truly is a family affair with help from my daughter, husband or nephew.

Full figure illustrations take around 7-10 minutes depending on the complexities of the outfits. I can do head and shoulder illustrations however this style isn't as popular.

The packages start from 3 hours for a more intimate wedding and go up to a maximum of 7 hours. I am sure there is something to suit your requirements, however I am open to changes should you wish.

Some Necessities

To work I will require your venue to supply a 5ft table and chairs within your drinks receptions area and preferable with good light.
Only me (Rebecca) illustrates but I bring an assistant so I can concentrate on painting and they take photos and pack the finished illustrations.
It's speed sketching so we only draw a person once, we do explain this when we take photos. I hope you understand that this is to allow as many guests go away with a sketch as possible. Unfortunately I cant sketch in peoples cars or other people that aren't there on the day.
I travel around Lancashire and surrounding areas, including Cumbria, Manchester, Liverpool, Cheshire, North Wales. Travel fees may be applied over a certain distance.
