Welcome to New Cards on the Block live sketching packages.

Live sketching is becoming the next big thing in events and wedding entertainment.

Book me to join you on your day to live sketch your guests capturing what they looked like on the day making a contemporary keepsake and memento.

Prices from £500 to £1200 dependent on venue location.

The Do!

  • Covers up to 36 people.

  • The card size is A6 size and comes with protective sleeve and personalised belly band for your wedding/event.

  • Mixed media is used, watercolour, pen, markers and coloured pencils to create the illustrations.

  • We arrive just prior to your guests.

  • Sketching starts as soon as the photos are taken and continues until we have drawn the number of guests the package covers.

  • We tend not to duplicate sketches in order to offer all guests a chance to be illustrated.

  • The wedded couple will receive an A6 framed illustration

The Bash!

  • Covers up to 50 people.

  • The card size is A6 size and comes with protective sleeve and personalised belly band for your wedding/event.

  • We arrive just prior to your guests.

  • Sketching starts as soon as the photos are taken and continues until we have drawn the number of guests the package covers.

  • The wedded couple will receive an A6 framed illustration or A5 in a protective sleeve.

  • This package would depend on guest arrival time. The earlier the start the better.

  • FAQ:

What if my ceremony is in a different location to my drinks reception, when will sketching begin?

Sketching will begin as your guests arrive to the drinks reception.

If it’s a sunny day are you able to sketch outside?

Yes I am happy to sketch outside providing there is some shelter from any breeze, we don’t want sketches to blow away.

Do you charge for travel?

If your venue is further than 1 hour away a travel charge of 50p per mile is requested or if over 2 hours then on overnight stay maybe needed.

What if I have a smaller wedding with 20-25 guests?

I usually charge from £450 depending on location.

What time will you arrive?

I arrive 30 to 20 minutes before your guest arrival time. This means I am set up and ready to start welcoming them and to explain the process.

Will my bridesmaids get the chance to be sketched?

Providing you have booked enough time for all guests to be sketched then yes those that are with the bride in the morning will be sketched. We continue taking photos until we have captured everyone. If the booking doesn't cover the number then those standing can be prioritised if requested.

Do you cover twilight weddings?

Unfortunately not, the lighting becomes difficult to work with and the time often doesn't allow, particularly for larger guest numbers.
